Damien X. Walsh

Damien X. Walsh is an Attorney Advisor with extensive experience in technology transfer, contracts, business engagement, fiscal and administrative law. Damien X. has worked with various organizations such as US Joint Forces Command, NAVFAC, Military Sealift Command, and more. Damien is actively involved in volunteer roles with Tidewater Government Industry Council, IEPA ODU Ethics Program, and various other groups to promote government-industry engagement and improve the government acquisition process. Damien X. holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and an A.B. in English and Classical Antiquities from the University of California, Berkeley.

Formally chartered by the Federal Technology Transfer Act of 1986 (15 U.S.C. §3710), the FLC’s mission is to promote, educate and facilitate federal technology transfer among its member labs and institutions so they can easily reach their mission goals, and impact society and the economy with new innovative technologies.
