Tom La Rosa is currently serving as a Law Enforcement Specialist in the Firearms Division at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers since July 2023. Prior to this role, Tom worked as a Training Specialist at General Dynamics Information Technology at the TSA Academy from November 2021 to July 2023. Tom's background includes significant experience at the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office as a Detective Sergeant focusing on major crimes, including homicide and child sexual assault/abuse, from February 2017 to December 2020. Tom's law enforcement career began at the Lumberton Township Police Department, where duties included investigations, internal affairs, and firearms, spanning from July 1995 to February 2017. Earlier roles involved serving as a Class II Officer with the Palmyra Borough Police Department and as a Seasonal Police Officer with the City of Ocean City. Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, earned between 2011 and 2016.
