Protecting the climate, biodiversity and natural ressources - this is what the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) has been committed to for over 30 years. Our work focuses on measures for clean waters, intact soils and low-pollutant air, as well as the promotion of environmentally friendly mobility and climate-friendly technologies. Our staff of more than 1.000 comes from a wide range of professions and personal backgrounds.
