Shuaib Garba Isimbabi Ph.D.

Shuaib Garba Isimbabi, PhD, Fellow IMC, currently serves as the Director of Legal Services at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development since January 2023. Prior experience includes leadership roles as the Director of Legal Services at the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA) and Legal Adviser for the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission. Shuaib’s career in legal services spans various positions, including Assistant Director of Legal at the Federal Ministry of Justice and Legal Adviser at the National Commission for Refugees. Shuaib began the legal career as an Assistant Legal Adviser with the Nigeria Customs Service. Academically, Shuaib holds a Doctor of Religious Studies from The University of America, California, and an LLB from the University of Jos, along with a WASC from King's College Lagos. Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Theological Studies at The University of America, Shuaib's educational background complements an extensive legal career focused on civil litigation, public law, and refugee management.
