T.c. Tanski

T.C. Tanski is an experienced attorney specializing in capital habeas cases, currently serving as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Capital Habeas Unit for the Southern District of Ohio since September 2018. Prior to this role, T.C. held positions as a Research and Writing Attorney in the same unit and as a Staff Attorney at The Pennsylvania Innocence Project, where efforts were focused on exonerating wrongly convicted individuals and improving the criminal justice system. Earlier career experience includes working as an Appellate & Post-Conviction Attorney at The McShane Firm, LLC, in private criminal defense practice. T.C. holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University.
