Michael Ennes is the Senior Vice President of Mixed-Use Initiatives and Corporate Communications at Federal Realty Investment Trust. Prior to joining Federal Realty, Michael was the Senior Director of Canopy Brand Development and Culture at Hilton Worldwide from March 2008 to February 2015. In this role, Michael was responsible for developing the Canopy Brand, hotel development and culture. Prior to Hilton, Michael was a Senior Associate at Hospitality Real Estate Counselors, Inc. from January 2004 to February 2008 where they performed appraisals, feasibility and market studies and provided litigation support for hotels and casinos.

Michael Ennes has a MBA from the University of Denver in Hotel Finance and Investments and a BA from Michigan State University in The School of Hospitality Business.
