Garrett Abney

Garrett Abney is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as a Senior TechOps Engineer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston since April 2022. Previously, Garrett held various roles at LEG-TECH from September 2018 to April 2022, including Network Security Engineer and IT Customer Support Facilitator, where responsibilities included security event response, user training in cybersecurity, and on-site technical support. In early 2021, Garrett contributed as an operational SOC analyst for PISCES, focusing on monitoring local governments' cybersecurity. Prior experiences also include leadership positions in dementia care programs at Prestige Care, Inc., and technical positions in the automotive and office management sectors. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology and Administrative Management from Central Washington University, as well as an Associate of Applied Sciences in Networking and Cybersecurity from Tacoma Community College.
