Howard H. Chen is a seasoned finance and corporate strategy professional with extensive experience in risk analysis and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as a Senior Risk Analyst (M&A) at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston since July 2023, Chen previously held the position of SVP, Corporate Strategy & Development at Bank of the West, where efforts focused on legal day 1 planning following the bank's acquisition by Bank of Montreal. Prior to this, Chen contributed significantly to East West Bank in various roles, culminating as FVP of Corporate Development, managing key acquisitions and capital raising initiatives. Chen’s career began at Bank of Canton, moving through multiple finance and analytical positions. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from USC Marshall School of Business.
