Ferroni Filippo serves as a Professor of Economics at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna since November 2024. Filippo has been a Senior Policy Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago since October 2016, having previously held the position of Policy Economist. Prior to this, Filippo was a Lecturer at the University of Surrey from July 2012 to August 2017 and a Scientific Officer at the European Commission for a brief period in 2016. Experience also includes serving as a Senior Economist at Banque de France from September 2009 to January 2016, with a focus on Monetary and Financial Analysis. Teaching roles were held at Sciences Po and IESEG School of Management, alongside a position as a Teaching Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2005 to 2009. Filippo's education includes a PhD and a Master in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Università Bocconi.
