Francois Gourio is a highly experienced economist currently serving as a Senior Economist and Research Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago since July 2012. Prior to this role, Francois held academic positions as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Boston University from September 2005 to May 2014, and was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance at Wharton Business School from July 2008 to June 2009. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago (2000-2005), an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics (1999-2000), and an MSc in Statistics & Economics from ENSAE Paris (1997-2000).
