Community Affairs Officer And Vice President - Community Development at Federal Reserve Bank Of Chicago

Suchi S. has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Starting in 2021, they joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as an Assistant Vice President - Community and Economic Development, and later served as the Interim Community Affairs Officer and is currently a Vice President in the Community Development Policy and Engagement department. Prior to that, Suchi worked as a Principal at Saxena Education Consulting, focusing on systems-level innovation and equity in education. Suchi also founded Mixer Education, a project they led from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, Suchi served as a Lead Consultant at the Sillerman Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy, driving social justice philanthropic strategy. Suchi was a Raikes Foundation Fellow at the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Innovation & Improvement, where they spearheaded the development of a national non-cognitive innovation agenda. Suchi was also a Richard and Ronay Menschel Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Prior to that, they held various roles within the NYC Department of Education, including Talent & Transformation Strategy for Abyssinian Schools, Program Manager for Teacher Recruitment & Quality, and Program Manager for the Office of Alternative Certification. Suchi started their career as a Summer Associate at Blue Ridge Foundation New York in 2004.

Suchi S. completed their education history with a Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D.) degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Economic and Political Development from Columbia | SIPA in 2004.
