Michael Schetzel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in central banking and policy advisory roles. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas since 2022, Michael has previously held significant positions such as Senior Policy Advisor at the National Security Council in the White House and various leadership roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 2007 to 2021, including Head of International Policy and Strategy. Additional experience includes a tenure at Bridgewater Associates focusing on global macroeconomics and earlier work at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in monetary policy implementation. Michael holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland.
