Rebecca Zarutskie

Rebecca Zarutskie currently serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Research Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, a position held since August 2024. Prior to this role, Rebecca spent over a decade at the Federal Reserve Board, advancing through several positions, including Special Adviser to Governor Bowman and Deputy Associate Director of the Division of Monetary Affairs, where leadership of research and analysis related to the commercial banking sector and monetary policy took place. Rebecca has also held academic positions as Adjunct Associate Professor of Finance at The Wharton School and Assistant Professor of Finance at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, contributing to curriculum development and conducting independent research. Educational credentials include a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Economics and Applied Mathematics from The Johns Hopkins University.
