Alison Walters, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alison started their career at Atterro, Inc. in 1998 as a Talent Acquisition Manager and later took on roles as an Organization Development Specialist and Project Manager/Project Consultant. During this time, they consulted with executives to establish objectives, implemented best practices, and provided training and development for employees. In 2010, Alison joined Volt Workforce Solutions as a Program Manager, where they addressed employee issues, managed compensation and policies, and drafted employee handbooks. Since 2011, they have been working at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Alison has held positions such as Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Project Director for the Quantitative Fellowship Program, Special Projects Lead to the First Vice President and COO, and most recently, as the Director of Operations and Support. In their roles at the Federal Reserve, Alison has focused on risk management, change management, and internal communications for large-scale programs. Alison has also built relationships with universities and institutions to attract top talent and has provided guidance on talent acquisition strategies. Alison Walters, PMP has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Alison later obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management in 2013. Alison is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same institution, with an expected completion in 2024. In terms of certifications, Alison obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2020. Alison also holds additional certifications such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci, Six Sigma Green Belt from the Federal Reserve System, and Senior Professional in Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
