Hue Nguyen

Hue Nguyen currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Policy Development at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis since July 2023. Previously, Hue held the position of Director of Government Affairs at Target, overseeing interactions with state and city elected officials in Minnesota and managing key issues affecting the company's business. Before that, Hue worked as Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Legislative Affairs in the Office of Governor Tim Walz, providing high-level advice on state operations and legislative strategy. Hue's experience includes leadership roles at the Minnesota Department of Education and the Office of Governor Mark Dayton, as well as earlier positions as a lobbyist for the League of Minnesota Cities and a senior advisor in the Minnesota Senate. Educational qualifications include ongoing studies at Harvard Business School, a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University, and a degree in Journalism, Political Science, and Government from the University of Minnesota.
