Ryan Nunn currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Applied Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis since June 2020. Prior to this role, Ryan Nunn held the position of Senior Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers in The White House from July 2024 to January 2025. From April 2016 to June 2020, Ryan Nunn worked as the Policy Director at The Hamilton Project while also serving as a Fellow at The Brookings Institution during the same period. Ryan Nunn began a career in economics as an Economist at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from August 2012 to April 2016. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Michigan earned from 2006 to 2012 and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Case Western Reserve University obtained from 2000 to 2004.
