George Makin is an experienced Information Security professional with a strong background in cyber forensics, incident response, and data protection. Currently serving as an Information Security Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia since April 2014, Makin previously held roles including Information Security Engineer and Security and Privacy Analyst at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia. Additionally, Makin contributed as a Cyber Forensics Intern at Mount Sinai Medical Center and gained initial IT experience at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Makin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Honors Computer Security and Cyber Forensics from St. John's University.
