Chris Murphy

Chris Murphy currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Government and External Affairs at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, a position held since March 2005. In this role, Chris Murphy oversees the Bank's government relations strategy, focusing on informing and influencing economic and regulatory policy discussions. Prior experience includes positions as Program Director, Program Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Financial Analyst at C&F Bank from February 2003 to March 2005, and as a Loan Officer. Earlier roles at General Electric included Senior Financial Analyst, and Chris Murphy also worked at Tyco as a Project Finance Manager from July 1997 to November 1999. Chris Murphy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University.
