Jennifer LaClair

Director at Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond

Jennifer LaClair serves as the chief financial officer of Ally Financial, a leading financial services provider, and is a member of the firm’s executive council. Since joining the company in 2018, her responsibilities include oversight of Ally’s finance, accounting, capital markets, treasury, investor relations, modeling and analytics, and supply chain functions. Prior to joining Ally, LaClair spent 10 years at PNC Financial Services, where she held various business and finance leadership roles, including CFO for all of PNC’s business lines and as head of the business bank, where she was charged with setting strategy, driving performance and managing risk.

Earlier in her career, LaClair worked as a consultant at McKinsey and Company specializing in strategy, operations and business transformation. She began her career in international development, working on economic development programs in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

In addition to serving on the Richmond Fed Board of Directors, LaClair serves on the Whirlpool Corporation Board of Directors. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
