Michael Stough

SVP & General Auditor at Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond

Michael Stough joined the Richmond Fed in 2012 as general auditor. He currently leads the Bank’s internal audit efforts to improve operational integrity, efficiency and effectiveness.

Prior to joining the Fed, Stough served as partner at Dixon Hughes Goodman, as well as a senior audit executive at Capital One.

He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Mary Washington College and his master's in business and information technology management from Johns Hopkins University.
