Terry Wright

SVP, Critical Operations & Payments & Charlotte Branch Executive at Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond

Terry Wright is senior vice president with responsibility for the Fifth District’s Law Enforcement Unit, Cash Services and Facilities Management areas. He also serves as the Richmond Fed’s branch executive in Charlotte.

Wright joined the Richmond Fed as an assistant vice president of Check Operations in 2004, after working in the financial services area at the Atlanta Fed for nine years. He was promoted to vice president of Check Operations in 2005 and took on additional responsibilities for District Cash and serving as deputy regional executive for Charlotte in 2009. He was appointed group vice president in 2016 and senior vice president and branch executive in 2019.

Wright served on several non-profit committees and boards, including as chairman of the board of directors for Junior Achievement of the Central Carolinas.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University and completed the executive development program at Emory University.
