Tom Bilston

Tom Bilston is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the LISCC Capital - Horizontal Retail Team Lead and the Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Working Group Lead at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Since January 2015, responsibilities have included coordinating system resources for monitoring developments in AI and machine learning, overseeing retail credit risk, and leading a team in developing key regulatory models. Prior to this role, Tom worked as a Senior Analyst in the Financial Stability Department at the Reserve Bank of Australia, contributing to significant publications and conducting analyses on financial stability. Earlier career experience included various roles in the hospitality industry. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree with first class honours in Economics from La Trobe University and has studied computer engineering at RMIT University.
