Larry Deewaard

Larry DeeWaard is a highly experienced electrical engineer with a career spanning over 25 years in hardware design, software development, and system integration. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer at Federal Signal Corporation since April 2017, Larry has contributed to various projects including the IPAS public address system. Prior roles include Principal Electrical Engineer and Senior Electrical Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed PCB layout, FPGA development, quality assurance, and customer support. Larry's earlier experience includes positions at Coriant America and Tellabs, where significant achievements included the architecture of the mTera systems and the development of System Processor Modules. Larry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an Associate degree in Pre-Engineering from Lansing Community College.
