Janie Flores-Aliani currently serves as a Fall Semester Law Clerk at the Federal Trade Commission, where responsibilities include conducting legal research, reviewing documents, drafting memoranda, interviewing witnesses, and summarizing findings. Previously, Janie worked as a Policy and Systems Engagement Intern at the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence, focusing on research related to policy priorities and emerging domestic violence trends, as well as assisting in the development of materials for various audiences. Prior to these roles, Janie had a long tenure as a Claim Specialist at the Social Security Administration from September 1999 to April 2025. Janie is pursuing a Doctor of Law (JD) degree at The George Washington University Law School, expected to be completed in May 2027.
