Nathan Brenner

Nathan Brenner currently serves as Deputy Chief Trial Counsel in the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission, having advanced through roles including Senior Trial Counsel and Attorney in Mergers IV since joining in April 2020. Prior experience includes a position as Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division and clerkships at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. An educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston University. Additional roles include founding Politiki, serving as Appointed Member of the City of Ithaca Conservation Advisory Council, and working as Case Coordinator at the Community Dispute Resolution Center.
