John Duane

John Duane has extensive experience in investment operations and finance, currently serving as the Proxy Voting and Business Operations Analyst and Director of Business Operations at Federated Hermes since November 1999. In this role, John oversees technology and strategic direction for an investment operations team supporting investment management groups across three cities, as well as leading the firm's proxy voting operations team. Prior to Federated Hermes, John held positions including Controller for Emerging Markets Sales Trading & Research at BankBoston, Assistant Treasurer at Investors Bank & Trust, Controller at The Massachusetts Company, and Audit Supervisor at Ernst & Whinney. John holds an MBA in Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Management and a BS in Secondary Education/History from Southern Connecticut State University.
