Peter Snook

Peter Snook currently serves as the Head of High Grade Trading and Vice President at Federated Hermes, a position held since April 2019. Prior to this role, Peter worked as Managing Director and Head of Crossover Trading at GMP Securities from August 2016 to 2018. Peter's extensive experience in credit trading began at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets, where roles included Head of US Credit Trading, Director of Credit Trading, and Director of US Principal Finance from 2006 to February 2016. In these positions, Peter managed US Credit Trading operations and developed the bank's proprietary trading desk. Earlier in career, Peter contributed significantly to Scotia Capital as Associate Director in Loan Portfolio Management and worked as an Associate/Analyst in the same department, focusing on credit analysis and risk management. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/MIS from Villanova University, earned in 2002.
