Samuel James

Samuel James has a diverse work experience in the field of network and structured cabling. Samuel started their career with DIRECTV as a Satellite Technician in 2007. Samuel then worked as a Cable Puller at NET100, Ltd., where they implemented commercial and industrial projects connecting multiple locations. Samuel also gained experience as a Cable Technician at Zito Media and FTS USA, a UniTek Company, where they performed cable installations, troubleshooting, and training new hires.

In 2013, Samuel joined Comcast as a Cable Technician and later joined Ramsey Enterprises as an Instructor, where they trained cable technicians and provided customer service consultations. Samuel then worked at Netlink as a Cable Technician, terminating fiber optic and CAT 6 cables and setting up wireless networks.

In 2016, Samuel joined WACHTER, Inc. as a Structured Cabling Service Technician, where they planned network installations and established voice and data networks. Samuel currently holds the position of Network Technician at WACHTER, Inc., where they verify services and addresses any technical problems.

In 2018, Samuel also worked as a Lead Network Technician at Federated Service Solutions, where they maintained and repaired cable infrastructure and delivered excellent customer service.

Samuel James has a strong background in network installation, troubleshooting, customer service, and training.

Samuel James obtained their Associate's Degree in Computer Engineering Technologies/Technicians from ITT Technical Institute-Nashville from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their GED in Mathematics at Forest Hill High from 1995 to 1999. Samuel also pursued studies in Military Intelligence, General at Forest Hill High School during the same period. In terms of additional certifications, Samuel obtained the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification from Cisco in September 2019. Furthermore, they earned the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification and the Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation certification from Cisco Networking Academy in November 2022.
