Addy Smith

Addy Smith is a professional with a strong background in clean energy, climate policy, and research. Currently serving as an Associate in Clean Energy at the Federation of American Scientists, Addy has previously held roles including an EDICT Intern at ClimateWorks Foundation, where significant grant proposals and independent research projects were executed, and a Research Analyst at The Ray Highway, facilitating the transfer of emerging technologies. Additional experience includes positions at the University of California, Berkeley, where Addy contributed to research on climate policies and conducted qualitative interviews related to climate-driven agricultural changes. Addy also worked in electoral operations as an Elections Clerk and Precinct Chair for the Johnson County Auditor's Office and volunteered as an Intern for the Warren for President campaign. Addy holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economy and Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
