Clara Langevin

AI Policy Specialist at Federation of American Scientists

Clara Langevin is an experienced AI Policy Specialist at the Federation of American Scientists since April 2024, with previous leadership as Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at C4IR Brasil from August 2020 to April 2024, where significant contributions include leading a Digital Traceability Project and piloting WEF's AI Procurement Guidelines. Prior roles include consulting for the World Wide Web Foundation on national broadband plans and regulations in Latin America, as well as teaching ESOL at Community Impact at Columbia University. Clara has also held various positions, such as Editor at Brazil Talk and Lake Victoria Challenge Intern at the World Bank, and has gained practical experience through her studies at Columbia's SIPA, where Clara earned a Master’s in Public Administration, following a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Washington.
