Gini Knight is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in food supply chain development, environmental conservation, and sustainable agriculture. Currently serving as Southeast Regional Coordinator and Food Supply Chain Impact Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists since March 2024, Gini leads technical assistance and advisory services for a USDA regional food business development portfolio. Previously, Gini held the position of Network Director at the Center for Environmental Farming Systems, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Gini has also contributed as Program Manager at the Wisconsin Land & Water Conservation Association and Sweet Magnolia Farm, focusing on conservation efforts and managing technical teams. A background in supporting community-supported agriculture is evidenced by the role at FairShare CSA Coalition. Gini's educational foundation includes a Master’s degree in Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in Scientific Illustration from The University of Georgia.
