Jon Wolfsthal is a prominent expert in global security and risk management, currently serving as the Director of Global Risk at the Federation of American Scientists since October 2023. With extensive experience in nuclear policy, arms control, and emerging technologies, Jon holds positions as a member of the Science and Security Board at the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and as a member of the U.S. Department of State's International Security Advisory Board. Jon has previously served as Senior Advisor at Global Zero and held fellowships at both the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
