Sara Elazan

Sara Elazan is currently serving as a Food Systems Impact Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists and previously held the position of Director of Data Insights at the Center for Good Food Purchasing, where responsibilities included overseeing assessment and analytics for over 70 institutions and improving data transparency. Elazan has extensive experience in managing data-driven initiatives, having led teams in various roles, such as Analytics Manager and Accountable Health Consulting Manager at Cambia Health Solutions, where significant improvements in reporting capabilities and cost-saving measures were achieved. A graduate of Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health with a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Elazan has also contributed to research and development efforts in global health through roles at UNICEF and Concern Worldwide.
