Phoebe Stein

Phoebe Stein is the current President of The Federation of State Humanities Councils, where she oversees operations and strategic initiatives. Prior to her current role, she served as the Executive Director of Maryland Humanities for over a decade. With a background in English Language and Literature, she has held various leadership positions in organizations such as Illinois Humanities. Phoebe holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Loyola University Chicago, as well as a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
