Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is a seasoned legislative specialist currently employed by the Federation of State Medical Boards since October 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a health care analyst at Braid-Forbes Health Research and as a legal and administrative assistant at Guerrieri, Bartos & Roma, P.C., where support was provided to attorneys in union-side labor law matters. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University, along with an Emergency Medical Technician License obtained from Genesys EMS Education. Additional experiences include legislative internships in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, as well as previous positions in advocacy and policy research.
