Giovanni Valentini

Giovanni Valentini has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Giovanni currently holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Deputy General Secretary at the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC) since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Business Director at FIGC from June 2019 to February 2023.

Before joining FIGC, Valentini worked at Infront Sports & Media AG as the Director National Sales from April 2017 to June 2019, and as the Advertising Sales Director for the Central and Southern regions from September 2013 to May 2017.

From 2010 to 2013, they held the position of Marketing Manager and Sponsorship Manager at CONI.

Valentini's earlier experiences include working as a Client Director and Senior Product Marketing Manager at Gruppo Mediaset - Digitalia'08 from April 2007 to September 2010. Giovanni was responsible for commercial activities, product placement, and managing relationships with sponsors during major sporting events. Giovanni also served as a Client Manager at SPORTFIVE from July 2002 to July 2003 and as a Controller at Infotel Group from February 2001 to July 2002.

Giovanni Valentini completed a Laurea in Economia e Commercio at the University of Rome Tor Vergata between 1996 and 2001. Giovanni also obtained a Master in Sport Management with a focus on Economics from Tor Vergata School of Business Administration in 2002.
