Katia Marquier

Katia Marquier is the Chief Financial Officer at Fednav. Katia has over thirteen years of experience in corporate finance and administration. Ms. Marquier has a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).

Ms. Marquier began their career at Gaz Métro in June 2008 as a Corporate Controller. In this role, they were responsible for the accounting, reporting, and tax compliance for Gaz Métro and its subsidiaries. Katia also participated in monthly investment review reports and periodic strategic review reports.

In February 2017, Ms. Marquier left Gaz Métro to join Oceanpath Inc. as their Vice President of Finance and Administration. In this role, they were responsible for the oversight of systems, processes, and procedures required to operate an effective and efficient family office. This included responsibility for the accounting, reporting, and tax compliance for twenty entities within the organization, participating in meetings with fund managers, insurance brokers, and bankers, coordinating external audits of the twenty entities of the organization, and being responsible for the family office cash management/treasury process.

In January 2020, Ms. Marquier left Oceanpath Inc. to join La Cage - Brasserie sportive | Groupe Sportscene inc as an Administratrice / Board Member. In this role, they are responsible for the administration of the organization and participates in board meetings.

Katia Marquier completed a BAA and DESS in public accounting from HEC Montreal. Katia also holds certification from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (ASC) and the Ordre des CPA du Québec (CPA, CA).
