Barry Nelson

Barry Nelson has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the paper, packaging, and publishing industries. Most recently, they served as the President of GPA. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at DS Smith, where they led the company's North American paper and packaging division and implemented strategies focused on innovation and sustainability. Before that, they held senior vice president roles at Veritiv Corporation and xpedx, where they oversaw multiple business units and achieved significant revenue growth. Nelson also served as the Senior Vice President at Verso Corporation, where they were responsible for sales, marketing, and pricing. Additionally, they have experience in sales and management positions at Forest Express. Throughout their career, Nelson has demonstrated expertise in strategic sales, marketing, client delivery, and establishing partnerships with key stakeholders.

Barry Nelson obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1983 and 1987. In 1996, they attended the Harvard Business School, completing the PMD Program in Business Administration and Management.
