Willie spent 25 years working for the Oklahoma City Police Department, starting as a patrol officer and then transitioning into various investigative roles, including burglary, homicide, narcotics, vice, and 14 years as a child sexual abuse and death investigator. During their time with the police department, they became certified as an expert in courtroom testimony at both the federal and state levels.

In 2009, Willie joined Feed the Children as the Director of Agency Assessment & Security. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing over 1200 agency partners in the US and international borders, ensuring compliance with FTC rules and regulations and non-profit guidelines. Willie also managed loss prevention for the organization in multiple locations across the US and 10 foreign countries, coordinating logistics with a fleet of over 40 trucks.
