Doug Montgomery has over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing management roles. Doug began their career in 1977 as a Director at ConAgra, where they worked for over a decade. Doug then moved on to become the General Manager at Creative Marketing Concepts, where they specialized in developing National Account programs for various food service chains and retail grocery store chains. In 1996, they became the National Sales Manager at SYSCO Corporation, a food industry distribution company, where they customized and executed sales plans for SYSCO Brand division. Doug then served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at D'Lisi / Value Added Foods, managing all sales activities for equipment, supplies, and food ingredients. After that, they joined Clever Ideas as a Director of Sales, overseeing a team of eleven and providing the hospitality industry with customized customer loyalty programs. Following that, they held Director of Sales positions at Hope's Cookies and David's Cookies, where they managed profitable sales activities to key accounts and distributors. Currently, they are the Managing Director of New Partnerships at Feeding America, leading corporate partnership development and prospect research. Throughout their career, Doug has successfully negotiated sales and marketing programs and maintained key industry contacts.

Doug Montgomery has a background in finance from DePaul University, accounting from Central Connecticut State University, and marketing from Southern Oregon State. In addition, they have obtained certifications in "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues" and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn in 2020.
