DT Oliver has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career at McDonald's Corporation as a Crew Member from 2010 to 2012. After that, they interned at Camp Lake James as a Parks and Recreation Intern in 2013. They also worked as a Risk Analytics Intern at John Deere Financial in 2015. In 2016, they participated in a Data Science Practicum at the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). They then joined North Carolina State University, where they held multiple roles, including Career Development Center Ambassador, Servant Leadership Team Lead, College of Sciences Ambassador, WE Recycle Volunteer Coordinator, and Statistical Researcher. In 2017, they worked as a Data Scientist at Syneos Health (Previously INC Research/inVentiv Health). They also served as a Volunteer Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line from 2018 to 2019. DT Oliver joined Meals on Wheels America in 2022 as a Volunteer Delivery Driver. Currently, they are employed at Feeding America, where they have held various positions, including Research Analyst, Analytics Manager, Senior Analytics Manager, and Director of Capacity Building Analytics.

DT Oliver obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Statistics from North Carolina State University, graduating in 2016. In 2017, they completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree with a specialization in Analytics from the Institute for Advanced Analytics. In terms of certifications, they obtained qualifications including Crisis Counselor from Crisis Text Line, Peer Support Specialist and Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and various SAS certifications such as SAS Certified Predictive Modeler and SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst from SAS. DT also received training in Servant Leadership from the Center for Creative Leadership in 2015.
