Kim McMorris

Kim McMorris has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Kim most recently worked as the Director of Philanthropy Content at Feeding America since June 2022. Prior to that, they held positions at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where they were a Public Affairs Officer from December 2021 to July 2022 and a Senior Advisor from July 2015 to December 2021. Kim also served as the Director of Public Relations & Marketing at Malcolm X College, City Colleges of Chicago from January 2012 to January 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Strategic Communications Consultant for After School Matters, Chicago Public Schools, and the Chicago Housing Authority from 2008 to 2011. Kim has also held roles at The Joyce Foundation as a Communications Officer from June 2007 to December 2008, the City of Chicago as a Public Information/FOIA Officer from January 2006 to June 2007, and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services as the Associate Department Director of Communications for the State of Illinois from 2001 to 2006.

Kim McMorris has a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the same institution.
