Maritza Ruano

Maritza Ruano, M.S., SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Maritza currently holds the position of Vice President, Compensation and Performance at Feeding America since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at College of DuPage from February 2021 to June 2022. From April 2016 to February 2021, they held the role of Sr Director of Talent Management at AIDS Foundation of Chicago. Before that, they worked as a Sr Consultant at APTMetrics from November 2007 to March 2015. Maritza also gained valuable experience as a Human Resources Generalist at Aon Corporation from 2000 to 2003, and as a Human Resources Manager at Little Lady Foods from 1998 to 2000. Maritza began their career as a Human Resources Representative at Zenith Electronics from 1997 to 1998.

Maritza Ruano, M.S., SHRM-CP earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from DePaul University. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Personnel and Human Resource Development from the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2006.
