Monica Hake

Monica Hake has over a decade of experience in research and policy, currently serving as the Director of Research Translation & Dissemination at Feeding America since October 2012. Prior roles at Feeding America include Senior Research Manager II, Senior Research Manager, Manager of Social Policy Research & Analysis, Research Manager, Research Associate, and Team Lead for Hunger Study Research Fellows. Monica's earlier experience includes positions as a Technical Assistant at the Alzheimer's Association, a Policy Intern at the Illinois Attorney General's Office, and a Clinical Intern at Heartland Alliance. Additionally, Monica worked at the United States Census Bureau as an Office Operations Supervisor and held roles at St Joseph Center as a Case Manager and Program Assistant, as well as at Ernst & Young as an Auditor. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and International Business from Marquette University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago.
