Vishal Kumar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, consulting, and strategic operations across various sectors, including social development and finance. Currently, Vishal is involved with Feeding India, focusing on scalable solutions for the climate crisis. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President and Head of the Project Monitoring Group at Invest India and holding senior roles at The Boston Consulting Group and RIVIGO. Vishal contributed significantly to public service delivery projects in Rajasthan and Bihar through a research manager position at J-PAL. As a founding team member at Swaniti Initiative, Vishal developed a business model for development consulting and engaged with political leaders on key policy issues. Early career roles involved trading and financial analysis at Jaypee Capital Services Ltd. and Futures First. Vishal holds advanced degrees from Stanford University and the Indian School of Business, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.

Feeding India
Feeding India is a not for profit organization, designing interventions to reduce hunger among underserved communities in India. In January 2019, Zomato and Feeding India (registered as Hunger Heroes) collaborated to eradicate hunger and malnutrition in India. All efforts are concerted towards providing better food to more people. Through our targeted interventions for child and maternal malnutrition, we are working towards bringing large-scale systemic transformation in the nutrition landscape of India.
