José BCC Oliveira

José BCC Oliveira has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they worked as a Frontend Engineer for Legacy, where they were responsible for the health and stability of the front-end of both of the company's digital products, and led a re-design of the outdated WordPress theme into a modern modular theme approach. From 2019-2021, they worked as a Web Developer for April Six, where they developed and produced a wide range of marketing assets including websites, webpages, web apps, videos, and animations for the agency’s clients. From 2017-2019, they worked as Co-Founder & Web Developer for Practitioner Plus, where they founded and ran a web design & branding studio, led the back-end design and development and front-end development for all website projects, and consulted clients in administering content management, hosting, analytics monitoring, and SEO of their new sites. From 2011-2013, they worked as a Digital Artist for JoeBCC.com, where they delivered web design, graphic design, animation, 3D modeling and photography for small businesses and corporations. Finally, in 2013 they worked as a Photo Retoucher for Marin Film Works. José BCC is currently working as a Frontend Engineer for Feedly since 2022.

José BCC Oliveira obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Animation and Visual Effects from SAE Expression College between 2008 and 2011. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including JavaScript: Patterns (September 2019), Learning Cinema 4D R20 (September 2019), Programming Foundations: Algorithms (September 2019), React: Working with APIs (September 2019), Vue.js for Web Designers (September 2019), Creating an HTML5 Banner Ad with GreenSock (GSAP) (August 2019), The Elements of Effective Photographs (December 2016), and The Value of Professional Graphic Design (December 2016).
