Temryss Lane is a professional soccer player, reporter, and broadcaster who has dedicated their career to advocating for the Native American community.
Lane began their career as a professional soccer player with Balinge IF in Sweden before moving to the United States to play for the Los Angeles Strikers in 2009. Temryss then transitioned into reporting and broadcasting, working for Fox Sports-FSC and beIN Sport. In their role as a reporter, they aimed to shed light on the successes and challenges of the Native American community.
In 2014, Lane returned to school to earn their MA in American Indian Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. During their time at UCLA, they researched the relationship between Native communities and soccer. Upon graduating in 2016, they became an Advisory Board Member for Feel Good Voting, where they continue to work to empower Native Americans through education and awareness.
Temryss Lane has a Master's Degree in American Indian/Native American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology and Communications from Arizona State University.
