Michael O'Connor, CFA, CAIA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Michael started their career as a Trading Department Intern at American Money Management, Corp. in June 2007 and continued until January 2010. In February 2006, they joined American Financial Group, Inc. as an Assistant to the Late Chairman, Carl H. Lindner, Jr., and remained in this role until February 2010.

Later, in February 2010, they became a Research Analyst - Fixed Income at FEG Investment Advisors and served in this role until December 2012. Following this, they were promoted to Senior Fixed Income Research Analyst at the same company from December 2012 to November 2015.

Michael's next role at FEG Investment Advisors was Vice President and Assistant Portfolio Manager, which they held from November 2015 until March 2023. Michael'sresponsibilities during this time included institutional portfolio management functions, manager selection, risk management, and client engagements. Michael also authored external publications related to economic themes and trends.

Currently, Michael O'Connor works at FEG Investment Advisors as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager, a role they have held since January 2023.

Michael O'Connor, CFA, CAIA, received their education at the University of Cincinnati from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honors, focusing on Finance & Real Estate.

In addition to their undergraduate education, Michael O'Connor has obtained several certifications to further their knowledge and skills. Michael obtained the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification from the CAIA Association in April 2014.
