Meriem Benchabane

Meriem Benchabane is the VP of Strategic Development & Operations at Feldan Therapeutics. Prior to this, they were a post-doctoral fellow at Centre de foresterie des Laurentides, where they worked on a project investigating the role of EAR zinc-finger transcriptional repressors in the defence reaction of poplar trees against foliar rust. Her supervisor was Dr Armand Séguin.

Meriem Benchabane has a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy from Université Laval, a Master's degree in Plant Sciences from Université Laval, and is currently working towards their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cellular Biology & Plant Biology at Université Laval. Meriem is also a candidate for the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Université Laval.
