Simon McKenzie

Simon McKenzie is a seasoned architect and educator with extensive experience in the architecture field. Currently a Job Captain at Feldman Architecture since May 2024, Simon also serves as a Design Studio Instructor at the Academy of Art University since January 2019. Prior roles include Senior Architect at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill from February 2017 to February 2024, and founder and designer at Simon McKenzie Architecture from August 2014 to August 2015. Previous experiences include positions as a trainee architect at OMA and 3XN, architecture model maker at Coop Himmelb(l)au, and various architectural internships at DIALOG, KGD INDIA, and GEC Architecture. Simon holds a Master of Architecture from McGill University and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Waterloo, as well as a brief study in the Rome Program through the University of Waterloo.
